Go-Anywhere Mobile Bar and Barbecue

Price: $200-$21,000

IT'S BILLED as an off-road accessory but for serious fishing trips and the like it could almost be described as a neccesity.
The trailer is basically a cold room, barbecue, bar and power source rolled into one. It incorporates a 2000W alternator which provides the power for the fridge compressor and lighting over the built-in barbecue when mains power is unavailable.
The cold room can hold 250 stubbies or cans as well as a good supply of perishable food, all kept at 2C to 3C. The generator can be run when the trailer is moving.
If the Go-Anywhere trailer is made to order it can include a stereo, TV, water tank, awning and keg tap as well as a trailer braking system.
New to the market and on display at the recent 4 x 4 Show at the Ekka, the designers were overwhelmed by the interest in the product. They are considering business deals that include the Middle East and New Zealand as well as Australian states outside Queensland.
The trailers are for sale or hire from one day to permanent. Rentals start at $200 for a one-night function and weekend hire is $380, pick-up Friday, return Monday. Weekly hire is $500.
Purchase price of the base model Colourbond trailer is $16,000, while the fibreglass model sells for $21,000.
